- If you already own a SwiftDisc Publisher 2.X license you can upgrade to the latest 2.X release for free.
- This post is about upgrading from the version that comes bundled with iRippit X50 to the latest version available on the SwiftDisc Publisher Web Site.
- To upgrade for free you will need your existing registration information. That was emailed to you when you registered your copy of SwiftDisc Publisher for iRippit. If you have not registered SwiftDisc Publisher for iRippit yet, please see How to register SwiftDisc Publisher for iRippit for instructions on how to do it.
To complete the steps below you must have your existing registration name and key:
- 1. Go to the SwiftDisc Publisher Upgrade Page and click on the the "Upgrade" button.
- 2. You will be asked to enter your license name and key. Please note that capitalization matters, so copy and paste will probably work best. When you have entered the information, click on the "Submit" button.
- 3. Choose either the latest Standard edition, to which you can upgrade to for free, or the latest Premium edition, which you can buy at a discount. Click on the "Submit" button.
- 4. Follow the instructions on the next page. If you have chosen the free upgrade (i.e. the latest Standard edition), you will only be asked to enter and confirm the e-mail address to which your new keys should be sent.
- 5. Confirm by pressing "Submit".
- 6. Go back to the SwiftDisc Publisher Web Site and download the edition (Standard or Premium) which you selected in step 3. Install it on your computer.
- 7. Start the new SwiftDisc Publisher. In the "About SwiftDisc Publisher ..." screen, click on the "Enter Key" button.
- 8. Enter the name and the key you received in the email. Leave the company field blank. For best results, copy and paste the information from the e-mail.
